Worried Moms, Let Go

I’m excited to announce that today’s blog post is not here! It’s over at The Laundry Moms. I’m honored to have an article featured on their site today, and its subject is the topic of my new book, Anxious: Choosing Faith in a World of Worry.

Please click over there and read it: Worried Moms, Let Go.

I’m also excited to point out that we’re about a month away from the official release date for Anxious. (Dare I say I’m anxious for the book’s arrival?) Be sure to watch upcoming posts for a special offer on the book, sometime this month. Soon after that, I’ll start featuring some excerpts from the book.

With this new book’s release, I’ll be writing on the subject of worry in several publications. If you’d like to keep up, this site is a great place to do it. Just click on the “Appearances/Media” tab at the top of the page, and it will take you to (among other things) a list of articles written on the subjects of my books. If you go there now, you’ll see a collection of what I’ve written for other publications on topics related to my most recent book, Troubled Minds: Mental Illness and the Church’s Mission (mental illness, mental health, and the church’s role in caring for people affected by mental disorders). Soon I’ll start building a list of what I’m writing about worry.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Best wishes on the release of your new book!

  2. Candace McMahan says:

Amy, I’m so glad you’ve tackled this subject. I believe fear is at the root of so many Christian ills–especially my own. I can hardly wait to read your latest book!
