You may have noticed I’m getting ready to launch a new book. Blessed Are the Unsatisfied releases February 13, and I’m excited!
This book is about the spiritual freedom that comes when we admit the truth: We are unsatisfied people. That doesn’t mean we don’t all have some level of satisfaction in our lives and in our relationship with God. We do. But none of us is so satisfied that we don’t want more. When we embrace that reality, we find God blesses us in our unsatisfied condition.
I think this book is going to resonate with many of the people who have appreciated Troubled Minds and Anxious—people whose life circumstances have given them both a reason and the courage to acknowledge their lives are not truly what they want them to be. I hope that for many people, this book will put their experiences into words and affirm that a lack of satisfaction in life doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with them. It will encourage people with descriptions of how we can live well without demanding satisfaction from life.
To make the most of the book’s release, I’m looking for help from friends like you, to help spread the word. Would you be willing to read my book ahead of release and then tell others about it?
If you are interested in helping, please consider joining my launch team. If you join this team, you’ll be committing to read an advance copy of Blessed Are the Unsatisfied and then help boost the buzz from January 9 until February 20, a week after release day. Besides the time to read the book, I won’t ask for a lot of your time. I’ll even give you some tools you can use to help spread the word. And once the book is available in print, you’ll receive a free copy of the real thing to thank you for your time.
By the way, you don’t have to finish reading the book by January 9. You can help spread the word while you’re reading, and I’ll give you some ideas for doing so. So no pressure for a quick read!
To apply to the launch team, please email me by January 3.
I know I have bad timing—this is a very busy time of year! Thanks for considering this. Your help and support mean so much to me, whether you can apply to the launch team or not.
